It all began in 1998, after the birth of daughter "Dide." Upon establishing a mild cleansing routine at 6 months old, with very mild soap our missy began to develop patches of dry skin at: the nape of the neck, parts of her back, thighs and within the back crease of the knees. We were quite puzzled at what might be the cause, and we did the usual things parents do: check the detergent, fragranced products, lotions, creams and lastly soap. While she'd lay upon her back she would fidget and pull at her thighs. Well. we finally had enough and took her to see a pediatrician, and she was diagnosed with eczema. We received a few cream and lotion prescriptions to relieve the dryness and itching. Concerned and uneasy about using the prescribed medicines on her so young, we just couldn't get with it. We sought help and advice from my mom and she shared some "good ole down home natural recipes." Many were quite unusual, but very successful.

After 2 weeks passed, we thought on how to make and take mom's recipes to the next level. We spent time praying and seeking God, asking "show us how to create products to help our family with skin problems." The answers, revelations and inventions began to come and flow continuously, and we received the first soap recipe for her skin.  Within 1 week of using the God-inspired, handmade soap her skin cleared tremendously.  We took her back to the pediatrician, and he was amazed at the clarity of her skin and that she had no signs of eczema. He asked "what did you do?"  and we replied "made her some soap." He said, "it works, stay with it." and to this day this is what is done. I remain equipped as a ready writer and inventor to receive the recipes and instructions as God gives them, with pens, notebooks or journals always on my night stand.
